If you have other Windows 10 that meet the requirements to be a WiFi hotspot, you can remotely turn on that feature. If you ever need to make any changes, click on the edit button under the Network name and password. Once the Mobile Hotspot is enabled, you should see the Network name and the newly created password. Under the option that allows you to enable Mobile hotspot, you’ll see a drop-down menu under Share my Internet connection over, make sure you choose WiFi. Right-click on the Windows Start menu and select Mobile Hotspot. Right-click on it and select Properties > Driver > Update Driver or Roll Back Driver if the previous option fails for some reason.
Don’t ignore the exclamation mark if you see one. If it has an arrow pointing down, right-click on it and choose Enable device. You should be able to see an adapter that says either WiFi or Wireless.
